[Bug 325157] Re: I could not empty the trash folder
I have had success with this bug by both deleting Evolution and also it's support software, Gnome Desktop. I am now using Thunderbird Email and I like it fine, but I will eventually try going back to Evolution and seeing if everything is truly cleaned out. Now I have full use of Thunderbird and I like that way that it is organized better than Evolution. The inboxes of my different email addresses are all individual and this makes reading and keeping email much more organized and easy to clean out. Thanks for the screenshots. It turns out I am able to reproduce this in the unity-2d session. Bug #1005136 is about adding the option for that session. I'm experiencing what I think is the same problem. I'm on Ubuntu 12.04, with two monitors with twinview. One monitor is 1920x1080, and the other is 1280x1024. The symptoms are exactly as described here by another user: http://askubuntu.com/questions/151337/screen-saver-issue Interestingly, the problem doesn't occur if you merely lock the screen. The problem only manifests if you also blank the screen. I can still move the mouse around the first screen, but it stops when I hit the border to the second screen. Thanks for the bug report. However, I cannot reproduce this bug. I am going to move this to gnome-control-center. Can you add the output of: apt-cache policy gnome-control-center; Maybe you have a PPA overriding the default package. A screenshot of the Appearance dialog may also be helpful. Public bug reported: The Golang syntax file that comes with Gedit 3.4.1 is meant for a pre- release version of Go. Go has reached version 1.0 in the meantime. This brought some language changes along with it. These changes are reflected in the latest syntax file, but this one is not included in the standard Gedit package. I don't use empathy anymore.
