In the Devices section you will find all Devices mentioned above, click on one of them. 4. Click on Details and there you will find Block Device checkbox, check it. 5. Press OK. 6. Now select this device again and click Remove. 7. Press OK. Now do the same to other devices to get rid of them. I don't know if its only a temporary fix, didn't try if they reappear after restart. [Bug 984930] Re: nautilus is missing 'browse to' option for 'open with other application'
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 853061 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/853061 Hello. I had a problem to add a custom command linking to calibre to open the .epub format of the ebooks. I found many sophisticated workarounds in the web but the simplest way to solve is to install thunar. Thunar mantained the old good interface allowing to choose the wanted command. Why was this feature removed? It was really bad to dumb down nautilus in that way. I hope developers reintroduce the possibility to choose a custom command/application. The ubuntu forums are plenty of people asking to do that simple action that was possible with all older distributions. [Bug 682788] Re: Improve Unity menus
+1 Rachel Unity users want different things here. Beyond, I think Unity developers want different things here too, because Ayatana Design has Fix Committed, but it can't get the other projects to have Fix Committed too, so it looks like the other projects are disagreeing with Ayatana Design. Gnome Shell has https://extensions.gnome.org/ An extension ecosystem is gold. Gnome Shell doesn't realize it has gold, so isn't shipped with extension support and doesn't make the extension support package visible. The Gnome Shell extension ecosystem was created and published by Gnome Shell community developers. I remember a rich friend saying in Russia, people had one shoe size for all. People would go to Ubuntu Software Center, click Ubuntu Extensions, view global menu options and click install in the same row or view LIM in a row and click Install in the same row. You wouldn't have to worry about giving us one shoe size. [Bug 1055766] Re: grep -R doesn't automatically search amazon
Sorry folks, for introducing another factor - but I am austrian and we have something similar to Amazon - http://www.thalia.at - when adding amazon you should - of course depending on my location, on my mother tongue and interests add more 3rd party search results. Of course Google should be searched in general to give more options. Oh and BTW: When searching in my home in Dash, you should offer me to buy new slippers - of course already using my shoe size. Now - back to reality: All this stuff is maybe funny, maybe offers really interesting results. Hence it should be separate lense!
