32-х битное ядро: uname -a Linux Home-PC 3.5.0-23-generic #35-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jan 24 13:05:29 UTC 2013 i686 athlon i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1121820 Title: Залипание клавиш Ctrl и Shift при переключении раскладки клавиатуры To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-screensaver/+bug/1121820/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1053783] Re: Ubuntu 12.04 - Stalled shutdown after having had KAlarm opened; with package info.
I also have this bug. I use KAlarm and my computer with Ubuntu 12.04 (Gnome desktop) took several minutes to shutdown. Link http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1764048 gave me the hint how to solve this problem. This link contains methods to prevent te starting up of nepomuk and akonadi in 3 steps. If you don't want to use KAlarm, it might be safe to apply all three steps. However, doing so, KAlarm could not be used. It asked to start-up akonadi first. So I tried what would happen if I only used the two steps preventing the (complete) start-up of nepomuk, and that worked great. KAlarm works and Ubuntu 12.04 shuts down within a few seconds. The steps to apply are: 1. Add the following lines to ~/.kde/share/config/nepomukserverrc (and their sections if they don't exist) (change the value from true to false if they do exist and are set on true; [Basic Settings] Start Nepomuk=false [Service-nepomukmigration1] autostart=false [Service-nepomukstrigiservice] autostart=false 2. [Bug 1122028] [NEW] gsettings does not respect dconf locks
Public bug reported: Description:Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Release:12.04 libglib2.0-bin: Installed: 2.32.3-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.32.3-0ubuntu1 gsettings does not respect locked dconf values (although it does know that they are not writable). Steps to reproduce: 1. Lock the value of /org/gnome/desktop/session/idle-delay by setuping up dconf as outlined at https://live.gnome.org/dconf/SystemAdministrators, specifically $ mkdir -p /etc/dconf/profile $ mkdir -p /etc/dconf/db/local.d $ mkdir -p /etc/dconf/db/site.d/locks $ cat /etc/dconf/profiles/user user-db:user system-db:local system-db:site $ cat /etc/dconf/db/site.d/screensaver [org/gnome/desktop/session] idle-delay=10 $ cat /etc/dconf/db/site.d/locks/screensaver /org/gnome/desktop/session/idle-delay 2. Run `dconf update` to updates these changes. 3. Run `dconf read /org/gnome/desktop/session/idle-delay` and observe the value is '10'. 4. Run `gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.session idle-delay` and observe the value is the default value 'uint32 600' Expected results: dconf and gsettings would return the same value. ** Affects: glib2.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to glib2.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1122028 Title: gsettings does not respect dconf locks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glib2.0/+bug/1122028/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1116513] Re: /usr/lib/cups/filter/pdftops failed
Following the previous comment this problem is a Poppler bug and fixed in current Poppler. Poppler 0.22.x will most probably get into Raring, but note that the pdftops CUPS filter uses GhostScript in newer Ubuntu versions, so the problem is probably solved at least from Quantal on. For older Ubuntu versions where the pdftops CUPS filter still uses Poppler we should perhaps consider backporting the Poppler fix. Moving to Poppler ...
