[Bug 1225855] [NEW] Impossible to select only DVD drive as source when trying to make an ISO
Public bug reported: To reproduce: 1. Insert a DVD to your only drive. 2. Open Brasero, select "Disc copy". 3. Try select the DVD you just inserted from the upper drop-down list. Expected: The DVD is selected and then you can input a destination for the ISO to make. Actually: Brasero just won't let you select the DVD. I don't have an environment with more than one drive to test whether this is triggered by having one only drive installed. [Bug 1225815] [NEW] mahjongg remains dimmed under certain conditions
Public bug reported: When you finish a game of mahjongg and choose New Game from the scores list, if you immediately whip your mouse into the top left corner (in Gnome 3) to switch to the overview mode while that new game is still loading, your mahjongg game will be greyed out, and will remain greyed out when you switch back to it. Since I, by habit, quickly flip my mouse up to the top left between games to check my other windows for new messages etc, this happens to me quite often. The game is still playable, and I can even just close and reopen the game if I want, but it's still a minor irritation and a pretty clear cut bug. This is on Ubuntu 13.04. I did a pretty stripped install and only added Gnome 3 etc. So much of Unity isn't installed. Trying to save anyways will yield many conflict files: mfritsche@volta:~/Documents/btw$ ls fetchPages.lua* fetchPages.lua~fetchPages.lua.u1conflict.1 fetchPages.lua.u1conflict.3 fetchPages.lua.u1conflict fetchPages.lua.u1conflict.2 I have "eatmydata" installed too. [Bug 1067110] Re: Weather report can't set unit preferences
Same bug in Fedora 19, I found accidentally workaround where if you use gnome shell weather extension (h ttps://extensions.gnome.org/extension/613/weather/ ) and change its settings on which unit you want to see, it affects Gnome Weather's units as well :P probably due to changing same configs as Piotr mentioned in his workaround. [Bug 1195867] Re: codeblocks crashed with SIGABRT in g_type_check_instance_cast()
It seems like "wxITEM_RADIO" isn't compatible with Ubuntu? I've recompiled the whole code-blocks ("codeblocks-12.11release8629" as download able on the official site) and commented out every line with "AppendRadioItem" in it. Build the source via: $ ./configure --prefix /usr --with-contrib-plugins=all $ make it didn't crash in this version (there were just warnings that those radio-items aren't initialized). It started to a full window, which seemed (at least) similar to the screenshots at codeblocks.org I've found a thread in the codeblocks forums: http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php?/topic,18088.msg123705.html where the assumption was made, that this crash is due to Ubuntu-Gtk+ patches. ** Also affects: lib32wxgtk2.8 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1195867 Title: codeblocks crashed with SIGABRT in g_type_check_instance_cast() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/codeblocks/+bug/1195867/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1225615] [NEW] file copy time is calculated wrong
Public bug reported: When I copy I file from my notebook to any other device (e.g. SMB share, USB Stick, etc.) than the copy time is calculated by the reed speed of the origin - and not by the write speed of the destination - what would be the expected behaviour. That is not a nautilus bug, because the same happens in terminel with midnight commander - mc - ... The whole file is cached in ram - but on an ssd that means - after 2-3 seconds nautilus and mc show the file as copied and nautilus than often freezes - but in system statistics you can see him now writing to destination. sometimes nautilus than wakes up and continue to work, and sometimes it doesnt... why is this calculated this way...?
