Reopening initramfs-tools-ubuntu-touch. When flashing current devel-

[Bug 890747] Re: Keyboard shortcut - Ctrl Alt Del doesn't do what most people typing it would expect

2013-10-01 Thread Christopher Townsend
Something has changed in which Ctrl-Alt-Del can no longer be overridden
by the Compiz Commands plugin, so bringing up the Gnome System Monitor
at the processes tab using Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't work anymore and instead
the logout/lock dialog is brought up.

I guess Doug McMahon new something with his ominous message about most
upgraders will never know this was done:/

[Bug 1233759] [NEW] Ubuntu GNOME 13.10, Evolution 3.8.4, crashes when in preferences to EWS account.

2013-10-01 Thread JaSauders
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu GNOME 13.10
Evolution 3.8.4
No PPAs
Fully updated (Tues Oct 1, 2013)

I have 3 accounts associated with Gnome Online Accounts. Two Google, and
One Exchange (EWS).

Often times when I go into Edit - Preferences, click on my Exchange EWS
account and hit edit, Evolution crashes. I have yet to see it crash when
I replicate these steps to the Google email accounts, but it happens on
the EWS account rather frequently. It took me 5 times to go in and
change the receiving time option from 60 minutes to 1 minute, as an
example.

Oddly enough, just seconds ago I was preparing to close this bug report
because Evolution wasn't crashing despite me clicking around in the
preferences window. I left it sit untouched for about 15 seconds and it
just disappeared cold turkey out of no where.

Thanks for your time!

[Bug 1233791] [NEW] nautilus segfaults when opening phones internal storage

2013-10-01 Thread techno-mole
Public bug reported:

I have a nexus 4 running cyanogenmod 10.2 (at present) I can plug the
phone in and it will mount fine, I can open the phone from nautilus and
I get an icon that says internal storage, if I try and open this
nautilus closes.

Running nautilus in terminal gives the following -

Initializing nautilus-dropbox 1.4.0
Initializing nautilus-image-converter extension
Initializing nautilus-open-terminal extension
Initializing nautilus-ideviceinfo extension
sys:1: Warning: g_object_set: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
sys:1: Warning: g_object_unref: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

and that's all I get.

I had wondered if it's because I'm using a modded nexus 4, but my wife
also has a nexus 4 running android 4.3 it's not rooted or modded in
anyway, and it does the same, the minute I try and open the internal
storage folder it segfaults.

I've reccently upgraded from raring to saucy (amd 64) so I know to
expect issues as it's still in beta.

If anything else is needed please let me know.

2013-10-01 Thread Álvaro Morán
Public bug reported:

If I move to the Trash folder using the program nautilus and I righ-
click on an item and then select Copy to or Move to instead of
copying or moving where I tell it it just restores the item instead of
the directory that I select. Even If I try to copy paste (CTRL+C CTRL+V)
it will just restore in the original folder instead in the one I choose.

[Bug 1232299] Re: gnome-session-flashback with Compiz launches Unity

2013-10-01 Thread Doug McMahon
Have seen this for some time. To get the gnome panel then one has to disable
the unityshell plugin in ccsm.
After doing that all is usually ok except if that user then decides to log into
a ubuntu session. Then it's possible that the unityshell plugin will be
improperly disabled
