[Bug 1244035] Re: gedit segfault when typing with ibus and highlight matching brackets

2013-12-21 Thread Explorer09
This bug is no longer reproducible after the latest gtk update
(3.8.6-0ubuntu3.1 , that fixes bug #1196523).
Perhaps my bug is a duplicate of #1196523.

[Bug 1263301] [NEW] Sinus 154 data II Wifi Adapter does not work

2013-12-21 Thread roland aus köln
Public bug reported:

USB ID for the mentioned Wifi Usb adapter seems to be missing in the
p54usb driver, so i need to recompile p54usb.c for each PC i setup or
after every kernel update.

can you please add the USB ID to the ubuntu/lubuntu/xubuntu kernel ?

3.13-rc4, 3.12.6, 3.11.10, 3.4.75, 3.2.53 and 3.0.101 do all have
support for this device

despite other reports, this older device is wpa2 capable, it`s only a
matter of the correct firmware if it works with recent wifi networks.

[Bug 1238410] Re: Inconsistent cursor visibility with cursor plugin enabled

2013-12-21 Thread Doug McMahon
Tried for a day plus on 2 laptops to reproduce this bug on fresh 13.10 release
installs *can not* cause it to happen.
Then updated fully still it does not occur.

After all that did go ahead upgrade xserver-xorg-core/common from
-proposed, see no regressions from it.

So from here the upgrade would not be needed, not sure where that leaves
this as no other previously affected user has chimed in.

[Bug 1164016] Re: restore type-ahead find

2013-12-21 Thread Adam Dingle
Daniel, thanks for your continued work on this. I tried your branch and
this seems like a step forward: most of the issues I mentioned above are
fixed. I'm still seeing this issue from before, though:

- Select the first file in a directory, press the down arrow once, then
type the first character of a filename. Notice that a secondary
selection rectangle remains around the previously selected file. If you
press Escape to exit the search, the secondary selection remains, and if
you then press the down arrow Nautilus navigates to the file following
it. Instead, as soon as the search begins the secondary selection should
vanish, just like in Nautilus 3.4.

Actually it seems a bit better than last time around: the first time I
type a filename in a given directory view, usually I don't see the
secondary selection and the arrow keys behave as expected. But if you
repeat the steps above over and over in the same directory view, you'll
see that the secondary selection often appears, and arrow keys after
Escape often navigate up or down from the secondary selection position,
not from the filename you just navigated to. Do you see this too? Is
this fixable?

[Bug 1226962] Re: Hotkeys not functional in non-latin keyboard layout in 13.10

2013-12-21 Thread Norbert
Thank you, Björn Michaelsen!

I installed 4.1.4~rc2-0ubuntu1~trusty1~ppa1 from libreoffice ppa, shortcuts
work normally. Tested on Cyrillic layout.
So we need SRU for Trusty.

[Bug 1164016] Re: restore type-ahead find

2013-12-21 Thread Daniel Wyatt
@Adam: Still not able to reproduce. I did the following:

1) Fresh install of 14.04, fully updated, GTK 3.10.6
2) sudo apt-get build-dep nautilus sudo apt-get install bzr
3) bzr branch lp:~daniel-wyatt/nautilus/fix-bug1164016_2 cd fix-bug1164016_2
4) dh_autoreconf dpkg-buildpackage -uc -b
5) sudo dpkg -i ../*.deb
6) nautilus -q
7) gsettings set org.gnome.nautilus.preferences enable-interactive-search true
8) nautilus

If I understand what you're describing, it shouldn't really be possible.
isearch_start (called when you start typing a new search) calls
isearch_entry_changed which unselects everything via
nautilus_view_set_selection (slot-details-content_view, NULL);
Can you try something similar to the above procedures and see if it's still
reproducible?

[Bug 1263430] [NEW] gnome-bluetooth does not send or receive files

2013-12-21 Thread Sergio Benjamim
Public bug reported:

I tried to connect a Samsung Galaxy Trend GT-S7560, Android 4.0.4,
kernel 3.0.8-1224927, to my laptop with gnome-bluetooth, it seems that
it does not pair correctly.

It's not possible to send or receive files from the smartphone. When i
try to send a file, i got this error in the send window:

GDBus.Error:org.openobex.Error.Failed: Unable to request session

With the bluetooth-sendto command:

** (bluetooth-sendto:7253): WARNING **: Couldn't register with
accessibility bus: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the
remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy
blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection
was broken.

** (bluetooth-sendto:7253): WARNING **: Obex Agent already setup on
'/org/bluez/agent/sendto'

I don't know if the problem is with gnome-bluetooth or some obex
librarie/package.

If I use Blueman, the bluetooth is out-of-box, it's easy to pair and send and
receive files.
