I've got this problem as well today. not fixed. Still present. I can select any time I want in the 'turn screen off' dialog box, it saves it, but the screen never turns off. This is with the Nvidia driver and Gnome 3 window manager, do not know of that is pertinent or not. I confirm it on 2 installs where 13.10 is upgraded from 13.04. Okay, that's weird.. I logged in as guest, and it works as you described (the sidebar is restored on each close/open). I like though that mine stays hidden, apart from the anoying fact that I have to press F9 twice. There must be some inconsistency somewhere? I might have changed some flags in dconf to make it stay hidden. No, it actually means there is nothing to fix I just have missed the updates to the bug. no, the brasero-cdrkit does not fix this issue. I'm on Ubuntu 13.10, brasero and brasero-cdrkit are installed both. However, this rule can be added to /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.bin.evince, which is intended for site- specific modifications to the profile.. Public bug reported: I'm using Evince 3.10.0 in a Lubuntu 13.10 x86 VirtualBox VM. Certain PostScript files fail to render correctly in Evince. See the attached example document. It has three pages but when loaded into Evince only the last page is shown, upside-down. Generally, the patches work well, but they have a problem. They break the ABI. You have been subscribed to a public bug: I wanted to install Ubuntu on a new Toshiba U940-100 so for this propose I test the live desktop environment. Booting with acpi=on When pressing a function key on the laptop the notification system shows the correct icon but the task doesn't happen. I found a much more convenient solution based on the hooks of pm-utils, so it's also independent of your screensaver settings.
