[Bug 1274740] Re: Re-enable traditional titlebar on 'gnome-but-not-shell' sessions too
gnome2/compiz sessions such as flashback and cairo-dock, should really not be using GNOME, this is mostly gnome-shell specific. GNOME Classic, should probably be using GNOME since it is gnome-shell based. Although that makes it impossible to have different behaviour in classic vs gnome-shell. Using anything other than Unity or GNOME should work, however I suspect there is some fallback to gnome2-ish behaviour lumped under Unity, especially in cases where the default upstream GNOME3 behaviour has changed significantly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1274740 Title: Re-enable traditional titlebar on 'gnome-but-not-shell' sessions too To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1274740/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1240595] Re: [regression] Unity Launcher Panel is gone after leaving full screen unredirected windows
This Ubuntu version 13.10 has been really annoying for me... Apart from this bug, I also got a few others: - mouse wheel does not work with gedit - keyboard leds do not turn on anymore (capslock and num lock) -After listening to music with headphones, when I boot the pc next time without headphones plugged, no sound comes from the speakers (and I have to go to the sound settings to fix this every time) - with 2 monitors, with one of them in full hd, everything starts flickering, and I have to lower the resolution What is more striking is that none of these bugs happened in the previous version 13.04. ubuntu devs are just making harder for me to keep with this distro. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1240595 Title: [regression] Unity Launcher Panel is gone after leaving full screen unredirected windows To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1240595/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 527157] Re: Brightness controls skips Levels.
This bug seems to have gone stale (again?), but I'd like to report that it affects me with: * 13.10, fully updated * Thinkpad T440p (FHD panel, if that matters) Using the slider in Settings Brightness Lock, it seems that there is ~15 brightness levels (it's hard to get an exact count, since each level is pretty subtle, and the mechanics of manipulating the slider aren't the most precise). However, using the screen brightness media keys (doubling as F5 and F6), I can distinguish between only 4 brightness levels. Each press of these keys pops up the brightness overlay/notification in the upper-right, and the bar there changes properly, but the actual screen brightness changes in a step function, rather than linearly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/527157 Title: Brightness controls skips Levels. [Bug 1242467] Re: Support docsets
I've prepared a pull request: https://github.com/GNOME/devhelp/pull/2 Unfortunately, it's not so easy to build the devhelp with docset support yet. The docset functionality is located in another shared library because: - I started writing it before I found the DevHelp application - It could be implemented with only a couple of external dependencies - I want to reuse it in some (future) console applications Currently I just build a debian package libdocset0 from github sources (https://github.com/roman-kashitsyn/libdocset) and install it directly with dpkg. You should place (or simlink) docset bundles in a books directory (I use ~/.local/share/devhelp/books) in order DevHelp to see them. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to devhelp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242467 Title: Support docsets To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/devhelp/+bug/1242467/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
