[Bug 1303531] [NEW] Fix for misplaced tooltips (upper-left corner) - upstream pending patch

2014-04-06 Thread Michael Webster
Public bug reported:

Hi,

Any chance this:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=698730#c4

could make it in?

Current Gtk+3.0 has had a bug since Saucy where gtk tooltips will
briefly appear in the upper left corner before repositioning to their
proper location.

I will do the legwork if necessary (as a quilt patch)

Thanks!

** Affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: Confirmed

[Bug 1030207] Re: Rhythmbox stops playing near the end of an MP3 track

2014-04-06 Thread el_gallo_azul
I probably would test it and let you know, but:

1. I only use Rhythmbox on my new computer in another room now.
2. Rhythmbox seems to be quite resource-demanding, so it works much better on a
computer with a couple of Intel Xeon E5 processors and 32GB of RAM than this
old clunker with one Pentium 4 and 3GB of RAM. That computer uses Ubuntu 13.04,
instead of 12.04.
3. My music collection resides on an external hard disk which I leave plugged
in to the computer.
4. That's why I can't test Rhythmbox on Ubuntu 12.04 now.

Feel free to close this bug or whatever you need to do for LTS version.

[Bug 199167] Re: Owner changed after saving file

2014-04-06 Thread adrian brunner
problem still exists:
using ubuntu 12.04 and gftp: editing a .htm file with initially rights 644 ,
editing then saving locally actualize the directory transfering the file
to server rights automatically changed to 600, so i have to manually
re-change every time to 644 !
gedit: obsolete now i like using leaftab.
