Now I'm also noticing that some types are not associated correctly anymore. In some cases it asks for permission, but even if you say no it may still submit a log that contains identifiable information. Proposed solutions: (1) Apport should scan all the files it is subimtting to make sure username/machine name is not in them; it shouldn't rely on third party programs to generate deidentified logs. Problem still there, can't access my ipod touch 3rd Gen 64 GB, using iOS 5, Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits with pre-released updates. All apps I have tried crash as soon as I double-click on ipod. It was behaving like that for my Ipod CLassic but now that one is fixed but not Ipod Touch. Perhaps one thing or should I say, the only thing that annoys me about Ubuntu is that things that work might get broken after upgrading to a newer version.
