Re: [Bug 1310965] Re: rhythm box overwrites track information
Hi Gordon, I'm not so sure this is a bug, and I need to revisit the bug report. I've checked out the headers within the MP3 files (something like): od -a track.mp3 | head -50 This shows that some of the tracks do contain the wrong information; however, file (track.mp3) hasn't been updated since 2011 - long before I upgraded to 14.04. This would suggest that the file has always been incorrect, but the old rhythmbox seemed somehow to display the correct information. However it got the correct information is not working. Maybe it would be nice to have a cddb look up function in rhythmbox to update any old tracks like this? My ability to rip CDs has degraded, do you get that too? [Bug 1246272] Re: Keyboard layout changing randomly
SOLVED (at least in my case). What I've done: Open system settings - language support In my case, appeared a message indicating that some installation was missing, and if want to do it now. I did. After that, I've checked the language tab and the regional format tab. In my case they contained mixed data: the system was configured in english, but the language appeared to be spanish. In the regional formats, the same: spanish as the date and currency configuration: I've changed both to english and restarted. Apparently this solved the issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1246272 Title: Keyboard layout changing randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1246272/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1323434] Re: Awful memory leaks when using image editing software
For reference I've posted a related question to see if I can do some more investigation myself here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/533052 /how-to-find-and-report-memory-leak Meanwhile it seems to be shared memory that is leaking so I'm wondering if it is actually a problem in the X Server or graphics driver? (Although it's only drawing applications that seem to suffer from the problem). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gimp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1323434 Title: Awful memory leaks when using image editing software To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/1323434/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
