[Bug 1419526] [NEW] Not save context on start from Unity
Public bug reported: Nautilus does not keep the navigation context on external drives. Proof of Concept: 1. Mount a non removable secondary disk. 2. Enter a disk folders 3. Out of focus by selecting another window. 4. Click on the icon nautilus in Unity. A new window opens to see the show that was already open. Then, working for example with a code editor and maintain nautilus with an open project to an external disk directory should I press the icon in unity nautilus to open a new window, then return to give click to show me both windows, then close the open window and stay with disc Navigation window :-/ ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1419526 Title: Not save context on start from Unity To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1419526/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1419523] [NEW] GVFS MTP paths are not stable
Public bug reported: Every time I unplug my Android phone and reconnect it, its URL changes. E.g. when it is mounted as mtp://[usb:002,002]/ and I unplug and recoonect it, it gets a new URL, e.g. mtp://[usb:002,003]/. This behavior breaks all use cases which depend on a stable path (e.g. shell scripts, synching via Unison etc.). Is there any way to implement a behavior similar to removable drives? They get a consistent mounting path, which is /media//, where is either the volume label (if present) or the volume ID. In GVFS this would require uniquely identifying MTP devices. If there is something as a volume ID, GUID or any other element that can uniquely identify a MTP device, this would be the way to go. If MTP doesn't provide this kind of ID (don't know if it does), then maybe "fingerprinting" the device (based on characteristics as the USB vendor & device IDs) may be a valid workaround. ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1419523 Title: GVFS MTP paths are not stable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1419523/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1419502] [NEW] No way to setup gpg-agent.conf:default-cache-ttl via GUI.
Public bug reported: There is no way to setup gpg-agent.conf:default-cache-ttl via GUI. I believe that seahorse is the place where this option should show up. [Bug 60448] Re: .xsession-errors file grows out of control & saturates disk space
I confirm manuellopezibanez's stagement: On my Fedora 21 system, journald is used and there is no .xsession-errors file, like those I still found on other Ubuntu machines around the house. I'm just wondering if there are still legacy apps (or apps not so well integrated with gdm/kdm/dbus), that may try to drop output in a .xsession-errors file... Anyway, I will be more than happy to close this report when Ubuntu catch up on journald... and then, to stop posting birthday comments on Sept. 14 of each year ;-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/60448 Title: .xsession-errors file grows out of control & saturates disk space To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm/+bug/60448/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1419421] [NEW] Portrait pdf printing produces empty pages

[Bug 1246272] Re: Keyboard layout changing randomly
I have fixed it for myself. As I said I had keyboard disconnect and reconnect logged in dmesg. So somehow I though this might have something to do with USB powersave (I think I looked to reasons why device might sponteously disconnect and reconnect (nevermind that I'm on desktop, and constantly typing, so nether kayboard nor machine should even want to try to sleep). So I looked for ways to disable USB powersave. I think I used this: http://askubuntu.com/a/301416 I done this couple of weeks ago, I I did not have that problem anymore. Though reboot will likely be soon, and I'll have a chance to test this one more time. But I'm pretty sure it's that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1246272 Title: Keyboard layout changing randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1246272/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
