[Bug 1428417] [NEW] Nautilus(and Nemo too) cannot Mount if mount option is noauto/user and the mount point has non-western character
Public bug reported: On Ubuntu 14.04(64bit), I configured /etc/fstab something like this. server:/Video /media/Video-Nfsnfs auto 0 0 server:/강좌/media/강좌-Nfs nfs auto 0 0 It works fine. I changed and added options, noauto, user. server:/Video /media/Video-Nfsnfs noauto, user 0 0 server:/강좌/media/강좌-Nfs nfs noauto, user 0 0 After that, I can mount '/media/Video-Nfs' by clicking the icon on the Nautilus's Network panel. It works. However, when I click '강좌-Nfs' icon on the Nautilus, I got this message. mount: can't find /media/\352\260\225\354\242\214-Nfs in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab I tried to mount that directory with mount command, like this. $ mount /media/강좌-Nfs/ It works. also umount /media/강좌-Nfs/ works. I think Nautilus(and Nemo) cannot handle non-western characters when it is related with mount options. I'm not sure this is a bug or there might be a solution or a workaround. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1428417 Title: Nautilus(and Nemo too) cannot Mount if mount option is noauto/user and the mount point has non-western character To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1428417/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1427219] Re: [SRU] New stable release 2.42.2
Hello Iain, or anyone else affected, Accepted glib2.0 into utopic-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glib2.0/2.42.2-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . [Bug 1215798] Re: losing windows on Ubuntu 13.10
I have the same bug. Ubuntu 14.04. If I run a web server such as django in terminal, close the laptop lid, sign in again, and the terminal window is gone. alt+TAB will show it, but tabbing over to the terminal icon shows nothing. alt+SPACE will show the context window, and I can maximize it. If I minimize it, I see the mimimize animation to the left sidebar, but clicking terminal in the left sidebar does not bring the window back. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1215798 Title: losing windows on Ubuntu 13.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-terminal/+bug/1215798/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1428350] [NEW] Gráfico do Dash do Unity com defeito
[Bug 1428307] [NEW] when screen is locked and I open my laptop, a past screen is flashed
Public bug reported: I close my laptop, which locks the screen. I then open the laptop. Sometimes I must hit the power button to get the screen to unlock. But before I see the password prompt, I see something else. I see a past random screen. It goes by quickly, in less than a second. But this is still not acceptable. The screen should not show _any_ information before the user has logged in. It would not be bad if I could somehow determine what this screen is, because then I would make sure it is blank. But it seems random. Sometimes it seems to be the screen I had visible when I closed up the laptop. Sometimes it seems to be the screen I had visible at one of the last several times I closed the laptop. It does not seem very deterministic. It is hard to know which screen it is going to flash at me before the password prompt. [Bug 1428281] Re: Newly created GnuPG keys sometimes disappear and/or are not displayed in seahorse GnuPG keys display
A few minutes later the "missing" keys appear when re-running seahorse. So the problem may be that seahorse does not wait for the key-generation to complete. [Bug 1428281] [NEW] Newly created GnuPG keys sometimes disappear and/or are not displayed in seahorse GnuPG keys display
Public bug reported: If a new GnuPG key is created, the key sometimes does not actually get created, or sometimes seems to be created but does not appear in the "GnuPG keys" display until seahorse is restarted. I haven't been able to nail an exact sequence to force mis-behavior, but the following procedure reliably reproduces the problem after 1-3 iterations: STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Run /usr/bin/seahorse 2. Immediately do File->New... PGP Key (Continue) and enter the info to create a new key 3. In the left panel, select "GnuPG keys" RESULTS (sometimes): The new key is not shown. If the key is _not_ displayed, exit seahorse and restart; sometimes the key appears then (other times it never appears, indicating that the key wasn't actually created or was somehow lost). If the new key _does_ appear, then switch the view to "Gnome2 Key Storage", and repeat steps #2 and #3 above until the new key does not appear under "GnuPG keys" (not viewing GnuPG keys while creating a key seems to encourage the bug :-) EXPECTED RESULTS: Newly-created keys should always appear in the GnuPG keys display ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.10 Package: seahorse 3.12.2-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.16.0-31.41-generic 3.16.7-ckt5 Uname: Linux 3.16.0-31-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ApportVersion: 2.14.7-0ubuntu8.2 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Wed Mar 4 11:04:38 2015 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-08-06 (575 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" - Release amd64 (20130424) SourcePackage: seahorse UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to utopic on 2014-11-10 (114 days ago) ** Affects: seahorse (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug third-party-packages utopic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to seahorse in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1428281 Title: Newly created GnuPG keys sometimes disappear and/or are not displayed in seahorse GnuPG keys display To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/seahorse/+bug/1428281/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
