Re: [Bug 517021] Re: gvfsd-metadata causes 100% CPU usage

2015-03-08 Thread Ben Bucksch
Philip,

when I said Please make noise, I didn't meant that you should make 100
comments in the bug. I meant to raise awareness of the bug at the Ubuntu
maintainers who decide which hotfixes to include in a LTS release. I
don't know how that works.

[Bug 1420514] [NEW] scrollbar sees reduced mouse movement

2015-03-08 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I am not using overlay scrollbar, so just normal scrollbars.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

- Open a program with large scrollable content, where handle is small (for
example, a long pdf in evince, or even the sound volume scrollbar of
indicater-sound - It doesn't happen with Firefox)
- Take the scrollbar (left mouse press on scrollbar handle)
- **Very slowly** start moving the mouse for a second or two
- Move the mouse normally

Expected behavior: The scrollbar handle moves with the mouse with the
same speed

Observed behavior: The scrollbar handle moves with greatly reduced speed
compared to the movement of the mouse

[Bug 1428546] Re: systemd[1]: Failed to load configuration for kbd.service: No such file or directory

That's ok. It's a debug message from src/core/unit.c for the .service
files which are going to be created by the sysv-generator. They won't
appear without debug.

That's just an (expected) debug message. It won't appear if you boot
without debug. Please don't regularly boot with debug, it'll only
slow down your system noticeably and inflate the logs.

Dear LocutusOfBorg (costamagnagianfranco)!

I'm on Ubuntu 12.04.5 (Precise Pangolin) LTS, not on 10.04 (Lucid Lynx)

I tried to apply patch locally on my 12.04.5, but got into dependency
