[Bug 1454253] [NEW] external usb breaks suspend
You have been subscribed to a public bug: After booting xubuntu 15.04 it's possible to suspend it the normal way BUT - only until you've plugged external usb hard drive. After that (even if it was unmounted and removed) it becomes impossible: the system goes to suspend briefly (for bout 1 second) but immediately wakes up for no apparent reason. I suspect there's some weird bug in xfce power management - is there a way to disable it alltogether and rely on systemd directly instead? ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- external usb breaks suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1454253 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1460028] [NEW] Ubuntu suspend instead of shutdown when battery is low
Public bug reported: Hi! This bug appears for me in last stable version of Ubuntu (15.04). In system settings, I set power manager to shutdown my laptop when battery is critically low. But it doesn't work. When battery reach 0%, Ubuntu shows a notify like your computer will shutdown now but it doesn't. It always went to suspend mode (blinkin' power led in my laptop). Moreover, in system power settings I cannot set the action to suspend, cause I've got only two options: shutdown (which is set by me) and hibernate (which cannot be set cause it's inactive, probably cause my swap partition are too small). [Bug 1414707] Re: Login fails, returns to login and flickering prevents password typing
This issue still persists in Ubuntu Gnome 14.04.2 I could consistently reproduce by installing fresh and then installing steam (and its dependencies). I was not able to restart gdm and login as it just froze in tty7 (the other terminals worked). When doing a hard reset of my computer it would then hang at the grey screen with the gnome logo and the three loading dots . [Bug 1460062] [NEW] Scrollback with Shift-PageUp Shift-PageDown does not refresh screen
Public bug reported: I am often using Scrollback in GNOME-Terminal. The current version forgets to refresh the screen timely afterwards. For one thing, it means that one is wildly pressing Shift-PageUp Shift-PageDown too often and it is hard to find things. For another, when trying to highlight material with the mouse, the refresh happens after the highlighting completes so the highlighted material is on a different page than the material you _imagined_ to be highlighting.
