[Bug 1517330] Re: Evolution 3.16.5 does not wrap text in message body
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about its status. [Bug 1517330] [NEW] Evolution 3.16.5 does not wrap text in message body
Public bug reported: In received emails, the text does not wrap to the window. When opened in a new window it does not either. There are no horizontal scroll bars. There is no setting anywhere for it, but then again who needs a setting for something that should be native behavior. When composing a message, I can set it to wrap the text from the format menu (It should be the default), and it works for the message I am writing, but not on the original message that I am replying to below it. I have to copy longer messages, and paste them into a text editor, in order to read them. [Bug 1480877] Re: Access points' "PropertiesChanged" dbus signals freeze UI on mobile devices
The generic bearer plugin is brain dead, especially when it comes to knowing when it's actually connected or not. Although connectivity-api also suffers from blocking dbus calls, I feel the connectivity-api backend is the right way to go for bearer & QNAM right now. In the least, it will lessen the stress on dbus, as ideally, there should be only one Qt entity getting network-manager properties through dbus on a system. At least the blocking calls will be off loaded from everybody and their brother that happens to use QNAM knowingly or blindly. I am not yet familiar with who originally starts connectivity-api and when things start accessing QNAM at startup, though. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to dbus-cpp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1480877 Title: Access points' "PropertiesChanged" dbus signals freeze UI on mobile devices To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1480877/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1510587] Re: Nautilus crashes when delete a file in a folder which is a symbolic link to another filesystem
On top of nautilus, nemo and thunar, I also found that pcmanfm and caja have the same problem. Dolphin, which doesn't rely on libglib2.0-0 is unaffected. The problem may actually be on some other depency that is shared by all these packages, but I think that libglib2.0-0 is the best bet. I haven't confirmed if the problem is present on Xenial, which has a newer version of libglib2.0-0. If Xenial is unaffected, and the newer version doesn't break anything on Wily, I guess that all that has to be done is to backport it to Xenial. I would really like that you would look closely into this bug. It is extremely annoying and very important in terms of user experience. No, the fonts are not smaller than the line but smaller or at least hardly larger than the sensitive area (feels like about 12 pixels) near the line. As I said, you do not have to hover the line, only close enough to it. I attached a screenshot for the Eclipse editor issue (editing a property file). For some reason it does no show the mouse cursor but I can assure you it was positioned well outside the area covered by the horizontal scroll bar. As you can see there is no way to position the cursor inside the last line (apart from using the keyboard). ** Attachment added: "Screenshot from 2015-11-17 11-23-20.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/1516713/+attachment/4520513/+files/Screenshot%20from%202015-11-17%2011-23-20.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1516713 Title: gtk3 overlay scrollbars consistently show wrong behaviour To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/1516713/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1516713] Re: gtk3 overlay scrollbars consistently show wrong behaviour
I tried Ambiance and Radience. They initially do have thinner scrollbars. But once the mouse comes close enough to the scrollbar line it extends into its full width. Only if I use a large enough font I can position the cursor in the last line. In Eclipse where I use small fonts this makes the last line of each source file inaccessible in the source editor and makes it very hard to manipulate (expand, collapse) the last item in the package tree list. I Googled and found an environment variable I can set to disable the feature altogether and things are workable this way. But I generally don't like to resort to such obscure settings and like to keep in the mainstream. But having to pick from a rather limited set of themes to have something that kind of works is a bit too restrictive for my taste. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1516713 Title: gtk3 overlay scrollbars consistently show wrong behaviour To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/1516713/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
