What was the last version of Nautilus without this bug? This version is
unacceptable, it shouldn't be installed on any stable distro

[Bug 1530384] [NEW] [regression] Touchscreen stop working on LG L90 Dual

2016-01-03 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I ports Ubuntu touch to LG L90 Dual. When I upgraded my device from
20151218.1 to 20151221 (channel rc-proposed), the touchscreen stopped
working. A discussion in IRC with @anpok_ suggesting that it may come
from changing input system to udev/libevdev/libinput.

The following udevadm output is most likely from the Touch Screen:

The driver claims that is provides the multi touch axis touch major,
touch minor, tracking id, x, y, tool type and slot id. So apart from
missing properties like DIRECT it seems to be a normal touch screen, but
udev clearly does not detect it properly.

but the problem seems solved after that I've installed VirtualBox:

Start-Date: 2016-01-03 18:53:10
Commandline: apt-get install virtualbox
Install: dkms:amd64 (2.2.0.3-2ubuntu8, automatic), libvncserver1:amd64
(0.9.10+dfsg-3, automatic), virtualbox-qt:amd64 (5.0.12-dfsg-1, automatic),
virtualbox-dkms:amd64 (5.0.12-dfsg-1, automatic), virtualbox:amd64
(5.0.12-dfsg-1), libgsoap7:amd64 (2.8.22-1, automatic)
End-Date: 2016-01-03 18:55:00
---

I don't know if VirtualBox has installed any critical package for gnome-
terminal... maybe it was a coincidence?

[Bug 1037256] Re: Sorting items by names do not work properly

2016-01-03 Thread Chris S.
I'm having this problem right now. Ubuntu 15.10, Nautilus 3.14.2. Any
sort order I pick in the preferences does nothing in Icon View. I have a
desktop where this is not an issue, and I don't know what's different
about the two.
