[Bug 1646304] [NEW] Nautilus won't start

2016-11-30 Thread el_gallo_azul
Public bug reported:

I tried to start Nautilus normally by clicking the "Files" icon on the
launcher, but it didn't start even though the icon pulsed for a while. I
then opened a terminal and typed "nautilus", and watched what happened

for a while, but then it disappeared altogether.

[Bug 1646206] [NEW] menubar visible even in full screen mode

2016-11-30 Thread Laurent Bonnaud
Public bug reported:

Hi,

when using eog in full screen mode the menubar should not be visible.
Unfortunately I did not find a way to get rid of it. This problem does
not exist in other builds of eog (I tried the stable and master versions
proposed as flatpak bundles). Therefore this problem seems to be
specific to the Ubuntu version.

For the time being, you can workaround this by first (when it's yet not
running) manually starting up /usr/lib/gnome-terminal/gnome-terminal-
server --name foo --class bar, and then (within 10 seconds) start gnome-
terminal to open the first window.
