[Bug 1646985] [NEW] "Open terminal here" shortcut not working

2016-12-02 Thread adin
Public bug reported:

Enabling the shortcut for "open a terminal here" in Ubuntu 16.10, by
uncommenting (or adding)

(gtk_accel_path
"/ExtensionsMenuGroup/TerminalNautilus:OpenFolderLocal" "F12")

in ~/.config/nautilus/accels is not working.

I tested it on an upgraded machine from 16.04 to 16.10. The accelerator
was working on 16.04 and it is not in 16.10.

Also tested on freshly installed machine with 16.10. Same problem.

Did the action accelerator changed for opening a terminal in the local folder?

[Bug 1646794] [NEW] Allow to set default auto-detect for encoding

2016-12-02 Thread johnmne
Public bug reported:

Currently, when gedit detects that the file isn't UTF-8 encoded, then it
defaults to "ISO-8859-15".
For some people it might be a relevant encoding, but for many others it isn't.

Could you please allow to set a different encoding for auto-detection?
(Assuming gedit knows that the file isn't UTF-8 encoded)

Using gedit version 3.18.

[Bug 1646790] [NEW] Allow to set the view encoding via menu

2016-12-02 Thread johnmne
Public bug reported:

This is a feature request (not a bug).

'gedit' allows to view a text file with a different encoding only when
you click on the 'open' button via the GUI.

But sometimes you drag a file to an already open 'gedit' instance and
wish to change the encoding easily. This is not possible...

Therefore please allow to change the encoding easily:
For example, add an option to choose the encoding under the 'View' menu.

systemd (232-7) unstable; urgency=medium

  [ Michael Biebl ]
  * Mark liblz4-tool build dependency as
  * udev: Try mount -n -o move first
initramfs-tools is not actually using util-linux mount (yet), so making
mount -n --move the first alternative would trigger an error message if
users have built their initramfs without busybox support.

  [ Alexander Kurtz ]
  * debian/extra/kernel-install.d/85-initrd.install: Remove an unnecessary
variable. (Closes: #845977)

  [ Martin Pitt ]
  * Drop systemd-networkd's "After=dbus.service" ordering, so that it can
start during early boot (for cloud-init.service). It will auto-connect to
D-Bus once it becomes available later, and transient (from DHCP) hostname
and timezone setting do not currently work anyway. (LP: #1636912)
  * Run hwdb/parse_hwdb.py during package build.
  * Package libnss-systemd
  * Make libnss-* depend on the same systemd package version.
