[Bug 1660908] [NEW] Ubuntu One branding still present when logging in to download snaps
Public bug reported: When asked to log in to Ubuntu's single sign-on service, the Ubuntu One logo is still displayed, despite the fact that this service has been halted a few years ago. This is also true for other places using Ubuntu's SSO such as Launchpad. [Bug 1581713] Re: Ubuntu Software always asks for an Ubuntu Single Sign-On account when installing or removing a snap package
This really is annoying, and leads Desktop Users to believe that an Ubuntu Acc is required to use the snap format. [Bug 1660855] [NEW] Can't start gnome-software to show a particular snap package
Public bug reported: I'd like to be able to launch gnome-software showing the details page for a particular snap. I can do this for packages from the Ubuntu archive (gnome-software --details-pkg=inkscape works fine, for example), and gnome-software _supports_ snaps: if I search for ohmygiraffe in gnome-software it finds that snap package no problem. But "gnome- software --details-pkg=ohmygiraffe" does not work, and there seems to be no equivalent option for snaps. I can pass --search=ohmygiraffe but that shows search results with one matching result, not the actual install screen for the snap. [Bug 1660618] [NEW] Gedit crashes on attempt to set the cursor position in the middle of the text.
You have been subscribed to a public bug: BQ Aquaris m10. Suddenly found that gedit is too buggy. Trying to fix typos on 2-3 words back, I try to move cursor position to necessary place and edit the text. After I return cursor to the end of the text to continue typing, gedit corrupts text disordering all newly entered chars (placing them not under cursor but in some strange place). After several re-positioning (trying to fix the situation) of cursor gedit crashes. Just disappears from screen. Looses all changes. ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- Gedit crashes on attempt to set the cursor position in the middle of the text. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1660618 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
