[Bug 1675397] [NEW] ctrl-f cannot find wrapped text in columns
Public bug reported: Please use this document to reproduce the issue: https://docs.bmc.com/docs/download/attachments/677783897/CTM_Admin_9.0.00.400_488755.pdf With Ctrl+F, you can find the term HYPHEN in CTM_VARIABLE_ALLOW_HYPHEN on page 155, but you cannot find the term ALLOW. Adobe Reader can (see attachment "find.png"), and I also expect Evince to find the term, even if the text is wrapped because the column is too small. In Evince there seems to be a newline character at the position where it should just wrap the column text. [Bug 1675369] [NEW] Metacity Not Sending ConfigureNotify events
Public bug reported: When using seamless applications such as Rdesktop, the window manager needs to send ConfigureNotify events. This is specified in ICCCM section 4.1.5. Without it, software will hang and wait for a response. A patch has been created here and should be merged: https://git.gnome.org/browse/metacity/commit/?h=gnome-3-24&id=f09967fc0f1d65fc7b5057b362b9657154a86079 I have hand tested this patch on GNOME 3.18 on 16.04 LTS and it works. We are requesting this to be merged. This greatly impacts corporate and enterprise users that are trying to integrate Microsoft Windows applications using Rdesktop. ** Affects: metacity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to metacity in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1675369 Title: Metacity Not Sending ConfigureNotify events To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/metacity/+bug/1675369/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I am unable to duplicate the drop shadow issue. I am attaching screenshots with and without Wayland on Ubuntu GNOME 16.10 under VirtualBox. I can see that the scrollbar is slightly off in Wayland.
