[Bug 1733245] Re: [Feature request] merge update-manager with gnome-software
When we initially moved to GNOME Software we considered using the updates page as the primary means of updating. [Bug 1720901] Re: VLC under Wayland causes system freezes in fullscreen mode
I don't understand why that bug was marked as fixed when the standard vlc package in Ubuntu is obviously not fixed and still causing those crashes and bothering users. And I really don't see the point for opening a new bug report for the same old problem, so I just changed the status of this bug. Side note: In the current snap package of vlc 3.0.0-rc7 those crashes are not happening any more. As there are other minor issues in that snap (like no disabling of screen timeout while video playback), that is not a perfect workaround yet for users who prefer vlc. ** Changed in: vlc (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Released => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1720901 Title: VLC under Wayland causes system freezes in fullscreen mode To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1720901/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1744711] Re: Update gnome-terminal to 3.28 (vte 0.52)
Here's an updated patch against current VTE master. https://git.gnome.org/browse/vte/commit/?id=b274318f2e is a conflicting upstream change. (By the way, I discovered the bug while porting the patch to the previous version.)
