[Bug 1629251] Re: Some app-indicators not showing menus
@Simon If you think understanding that report, tell me why 'importance' & 'assigned to ' are still not set by devs ? When that report have been opened (2016), there was a transitional time where many users have hit the problem, then only a few (with rolling systems/mixed install/...) About xenial, it will never receive 'cosmetic' fixed but only 'security' ones and maybe some SRU/backport; nothing related to such report. So you can still spend your time to undo what i have set, its useless and does not help to get solutions nor 'makes ubuntu better'. ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: appmenu-qt (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-session in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1629251 Title: Some app-indicators not showing menus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/appmenu-qt/+bug/1629251/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1629251] Re: Some app-indicators not showing menus
> Unity is dead; nobody will spend time about it. You're wrong there, Unity is still maintained and will be for the rest of the 16.04 cycle at minimum. Also, about the "mixed install" part of this, that shouldn't matter, as this is reported against appmenu-qt. Please, stop marking the status to Invalid. [Bug 1752875] Re: error: PATH is not set when trying to use apt autoremove function
This issue was fixed in version 2.0 that was recently released so there are two possible ways how to fix this in Ubuntu: 1. Use the version 2.0 (as freeze exception) after it will be available in Debian.; 2. Try to fix the current Ubuntu version using the original fix from GitHub. [Bug 1752709] Re: Left mouse button gets stuck down (in software), usually after suspend/resume
It seems Unity is not affected. I took some time to respond because I could not reproduce the bug yesterday after rebooting the machine. It seems something triggers the bug, and once it has been triggered I can consistently reproduce it with pm-suspend, even after logging out and back in (this in itself makes the issue disappear, but suspending makes it appear again). So now that it occurred again, I logged several times into Unity and Gnome Shell (xorg), and executing pm-suspend always made the problem appear in Gnome Shell, and never did in Unity. I still do not know what triggers the bug in the first place, but it seems to occur usually when I go from work to home or vice versa, which implies suspending, closing the lid, unplugging the AC adapter, external monitor and USB hub. For what it's worth, the problem occurs with my USB mouse and with my Bluetooth mouse. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1752709 Title: Left mouse button gets stuck down (in software), usually after suspend/resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1752709/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
