[Bug 1769857] Re: Vulkan not working if nvidia-drm.modeset=1 is set and gdm3 is used (Optimus)
I have the same fail, since I updated Nvidia version (to 410), and then even returning to 396, Vulkan doesn't work, with vulkaninfo appears in terminal the same text as nastys. But with "sudo vulkaninfo" Vulkan works. PD: I have Ubuntu 18.04 with Gnome, and Nvidia's drivers. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1769857 Title: Vulkan not working if nvidia-drm.modeset=1 is set and gdm3 is used (Optimus) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1769857/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1778011] Re: SRU: PRIME Power Saving mode draws too much power
For me the power management isn't working, too. The fan is always running and my notebook is getting hot. I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 and installed the default nvidia driver 390. My machine is an ASUS UX331UN with an nvidia mx150. Currently my workaround is to install bbswitch and turn the nvidia graphics on/off with that by hand :/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1778011 Title: SRU: PRIME Power Saving mode draws too much power To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/1778011/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1801757] Re: all app indicators disappear
Maybe, I've found a solution: 1) Another useful info: https://askubuntu.com/questions/969138/tray- icons-disappears-sometimes-in-ubuntu-17-10 2.1) I moved the mentioned '/etc/xdg/autostart/indicator-application.desktop' 2.2) Killed this process: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/indicator-application/indicator-application-service and indicators re-appeared immediately. 3) Locked the screen 4) Unlocked back in... indicators are still visible. They even survived gnome-shell restart thereafter. I'll check back in by the end of the day, if it really worked. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell-extension-appindicator in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1801757 Title: all app indicators disappear To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-extension-appindicator/+bug/1801757/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1800749] Re: Ubuntu 18.10 doesn't like fullscreen mode for sauerbraten(game)
A little more info: _As soon as_ you switch sauerbraten(multiverse package) to fullscreen(Step 3, above) in Ubuntu 18.10, the system mouse pointer starts the flickering in the middle of the screen(about once a second). While moving the _game_ mouse pointer around, like in circles, the system mouse pointer ceases to flicker/interrupt the game. Once you stop moving the game mouse pointer around, the flickering of the system mouse pointer returns. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1800749 Title: Ubuntu 18.10 doesn't like fullscreen mode for sauerbraten(game) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1800749/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
