[Bug 1834967] Re: Windows in Activities might be partially off screen

2019-11-23 Thread Carlos Pita
I've tested this in two up-to-date 19.10 installations running in very
different laptops, one with hi-dpi, the other one an old standard dpi
one, and both still show the issue. Both have the standard vertically
expanded dock. It perplexes me as this issue status is "Fix released"
since almost one month now.

[Bug 1685754] Re: gnome-terminal unduly forces umask=0022

2019-11-23 Thread David
Is there any workaround for Nautilus?
I tried with /etc/systemd/user/nautilus.service.d/umask.conf and
/etc/systemd/user/Nautilus.service.d/umask.conf but nothing seems to work.
Thanks in advance!

[Bug 1742482] Re: firefox is used to open ftp share files

2019-11-23 Thread Janghou
Not only Firefox, also Chrome and Opera are x-scheme-handler/ftp
handlers.

IMHO this is a Nautilus bug, because it DOES SHOW *open with Text
Editor* on a txt file, and it DOES NOT do that.

But it DOES work when you select *Open with other application* and then
select *Text Editor*.

IMHO the handling in the context menu should be the default in Nautilus.

[Bug 1853684] [NEW] memory leak in g_param_value_defaults() (glib2.0, 2.63.1-2)

2019-11-23 Thread Thomas Haller
Public bug reported:

There is a memory leak in glib 2.63.1.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glib2.0/2.63.1-2

Fixed upstream:

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/merge_requests/1220

This causes NetworkManager CI tests to fail on Ubuntu 20.04, and it seems quite
serious (being in a popular function, at least when using for libnm).

** Affects: glib2.0 (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
