Public bug reported: After I upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04 I couldn't change settings which required superuser access. For example program sources, users etc. If I try to change I get no modal window with superuser password. [Bug 1868333] [NEW] Volume and screen brightness sliders are not updated on the status menu
Public bug reported: On boot, the volume and screen brightness sliders on the status menu are at their minimum value, despite both volume and screen brightness being set at a different level (as expected, the same levels they were on last shutdown). Changing volume or brightness with keyboard shortcuts change the setting, but the sliders on the status menu are no updated. The sliders are functional when modified by dragging with the mouse, but their position remains fixed despite changing the settings afterwards by keyboard. This morning that system has stopped booting. I am not sure why. I can try and pull the SD card out and get the ID for the error report.
