[Bug 1961508] Re: Dock displaying over window after resuming from blank screen
Sebastian, are you using an external monitor connected to HDMI when this problem occurs? I've just seen Andrea's comment above in number 3 and noticed that I have the same setup. Laptop with an external HDMI display plugged in. I can now replicate the problem consistently. When I plug in the external HDMI monitor, the dock on my laptop overlaps the window. When I unplug the HDMI monitor the dock on my laptop goes back to normal. So I believe this problem is related to using a HDMI external monitor. The external monitor doesn't have a dock and so it goes full screen which is correct. However, it also puts the laptop monitor full screen sometimes, and therefore the dock overlaps the window. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1961508 Title: Dock displaying over window after resuming from blank screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/dash-to-dock/+bug/1961508/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1952107] Re: Google Contacts API Deprecated
Hi again Affred and thank you very much for trying to help me. So, firstly, just to be sure that there is no confusion, the way I configured my google account in Ubuntu 22.04 is not in Evolution, but in Ubuntu Settings -> Online Accounts, then Evolution automatically uses that account. In Online Accounts I ticked all possible things to sync for my google account (including Contacts). Like I said, entering the app password in Online Accounts is not accepted by Ubuntu. Then I did, as you said, open the Seahorse app. When I look into that with the filter set to "Show any" (so that it doeas not filter any entries out), I see no entry for Address Book. The only entry I see is named "GOA google credentials for identity account_xx_y" and it has a poassword field (can be edited after clicking right on the entry and choosing Properties) like: {'authorization_code': <'a'>, 'access_token': <''>, 'access_token_expires_at': , 'refresh_token': <'ccc'>} So there is no password or app password part in the above field. I even tried to replace that field with {'password': <''>}, where ee...ee will be the app password, or directly with ee...eee, but no luck. Any other suggestions please? I requested that revert because I tested the change on F35 and found it caused gnome-control-center to display the logo at a huge size. It was obviously broken. I didn't test F36 or rawhide, though. These are different because they use GTK 4 instead of GTK 3, with different underlying widgets to display the image. Perhaps it's totally fine. Just needs to be tested.
