Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Please execute the following command only once, as it
will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:

  apport-collect 2000833

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-
bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this
functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

[Bug 2000835] [NEW] After resuming work, only the external screen works.

2023-01-04 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Work on two monitors - extended.
After a certain period of time, the monitor automatically shuts down and locks
the screen. Starting work turns on the external screen only. The built-in one
is disabled. I can't see the window when entering the password. The only way is
to switch to one monitor, then turn both back on. Sometimes the order of the
displays is swapped (the main one becomes the external monitor)

[Bug 2000423] Re: "Alternate Characters Key" UI not reflecting current choice

2023-01-04 Thread Gunnar Hjalmarsson
To the SRU team:

I skipped kinetic. Not only because I'm lazy, but also because of
limited importance.

The "Alternate Characters Key" control can be assumed to be used by
relatively few users. And those who use it typically do it as a one time
setting. If a user of an updated jammy (including this fix) upgrades to
kinetic, their setting will be kept even if the UI in some cases will
say something else.

So while I think it's worth the effort to fix this bug in our latest
LTS, it's not worth the hassle of a kinetic SRU.

[Bug 2001621] [NEW] WebGL stops working after software update

2023-01-04 Thread Jonathan vhive
Public bug reported:

Hello
We have 3 Lenovo P15s laptops used for development at vHive.ai
We use Ubuntu 20.04
After updating drivers (no special configuration, just click update), WebGL
stops working. It is jittery and then crashes (Chrome browser). Reproducible:
fresh install works ok, but visiting sandcastle.cesium.org after driver update
crashes WebGL. Happens on all three laptops.
