[Bug 2012043] [NEW] [lunar] New g-c-c makes display config painful
Public bug reported: Hi, Jammy : I can change some elements (frequency, positioning, etc.) THEN apply. Lunar : I have to change displays config and positioning by applying on every element change (1st display, 2nd display, positioning). Not a big deal but imo it should be cool to allow users to globally apply their changes in display config, as before. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2012043 Title: [lunar] New g-c-c makes display config painful To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/2012043/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 2011803] Re: Team Fortress 2 blinks in fullscreen
Thanks. I can see two issues there: 1. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2610 2. Some unsupported extensions are showing bugs in the log: /home/dell/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/quick-settings-tweaks@qwreey /home/dell/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/espre...@coadmunkee.github.com So possible workarounds to those are: 1. Make rendering slower but more friendly to OBS Studio: Alt+F2, lg, Meta.disable_unredirect_for_display(global.display) or simply disable/remove OBS Studio, or whatever is recording the screen. 2. Delete the buggy extensions: cd /home/dell/.local/share/gnome-shell/ rm -rf extensions and then log in again. ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues #2610 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2610 ** Also affects: mutter via https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2610 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2011803 Title: Team Fortress 2 blinks in fullscreen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mutter/+bug/2011803/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
