Hi Lucas, Thank you for taking a look at this! [Bug 1779890] Re: gvfsd process does not have the KRB5CCNAME environment set
This is in the general sponsorship queue, do you need help to get those uploads sponsored? Or is there someone with upload rights working with you on this? In case you already have someone to sponsor the uploads, please, unsubscribe ~ubuntu-sponsors. After a quick look at the latest debdiff proposed by Matthew, I would suggest to use version 3.3.0-1ubuntu0.1 in Jammy. Right now, we have version 3.3.0-1 in the release pocket, and using version 3.3.0-1ubuntu1 might make some users think that this delta was introduced during the development cycle, and using 3.3.0-1ubuntu0.1 makes more explicit the fact that this was introduced after the release via a SRU. This is just my 2 cents, what was proposed would work out well, it is more a semantic thing that I like to follow when adding a delta via SRU to a package that used to be a sync from Debian. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1779890 Title: gvfsd process does not have the KRB5CCNAME environment set To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1779890/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 2024014] [NEW] Deleting files via nautilus windows causes the file list to refresh incorrectly.
Public bug reported: This problem started between kinetic (which worked) and lunar (which does not). If I delete a file the updated file listing in nautilus is incorrect, showing the deleted file and removing a random file/directory that is still technically present. Refreshing via ctrl+r restores the file view to the real state. This bug also happens when moving files to directories. To reproduce this bug: * create files/directories in a directory `touch file{1..9} ; mkdir -p dir{1..9}` * open the directory in nautilus and delete a file (in my case file6) This bug does happen when the file is permanently deleted using nautilus, however it doesn't happen when the file is deleted via a terminal with the nautilus window open in that directory. This bug is also reproduced on any other nautilus windows open and viewing the same directory. ** Summary changed: - SRU gjs 1.72.3 to jammy + SRU gjs 1.72.4 to jammy ** Description changed: [ Impact ] That's the GNOME 42 stable update, including some fixes: - https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gjs/-/commits/1.72.3 + https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gjs/-/commits/1.72.4 [ Test case ] The update is part of GNOME stable updates https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates/GNOME Gjs applications (such as GNOME Maps, GNOME Characters, GNOME Weather...) and GNOME Shell and its components and extensions should continue working. [ Regression potential ] GNOME Shell is the heart of the Ubuntu desktop experience. gjs is a key component of GNOME Shell. A severe enough bug could mean that people are unable to use their desktop version of Ubuntu (it is used by even GDM, the login screen). Smaller bugs could interrupt people's workflows.
