I've set up a dual Nvidia system and cannot reproduce any crashes. The second Nvidia card fails to display anything if a monitor is attached but that's basically the same as bug 1978905, and the same experimental patch (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/3416) mostly fixes that. Do we care about this bug anymore? The problem persists with 23.04 and now with 23.10 as well from what I see. Those types of errors are not unusual and don't usually lead to an unresponsive GUI. So we might be conflating the GUI issue with unrelated log messages.
