2023-12-06 Thread Daniel van Vugt
Thanks for the bug report.

Since your graphics packages are from an unsupported source "LP-PPA-
ernstp-mesarc", we cannot handle bug reports about them here.

Please remove that PPA from the system, reboot and then report new bugs
for any problems you find.

[Bug 2045772] [NEW] Gnome session freezes a few seconds after starting Meet on Chrome under Wayland

2023-12-06 Thread Nicolás Abel Carbone
Public bug reported:

Since updating to Ubuntu 23.10, every time I start a Google Meet
meeting, with the webcam on, in Chrome under Wayland after a few second
of working fine the computer freezes and the screen starts flashing
every couple of seconds. I can't do anything else but force restart the
computer. This problem only happens in Chrome (not Firefox) under
Wayland (it works fine on X11).

I understand this may be a bug of Chrome. But the desktop shouldn't have
an unrecoverable freeze even if an application crashes.

[Bug 1969602] Re: gnome-shell with focus-mode=mouse behaves wrongly when alt-tabbing

2023-12-06 Thread Ari Pollak
This was fixed in Ubuntu 23.04, but then broke again with 23.10. The
workaround that worked for me in 22.04 was to install
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/4673/alt-tab-move-mouse/, but
that's not available for GNOME 45.

Supposedly this update to mutter fixes the issue but I haven't tested
it: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/3258

[Bug 2045744] [NEW] Add profile to open Textedit links in files generated by Lilypond

2023-12-06 Thread Christ van Willegen
Public bug reported:

I modified the /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.evince file to be able to click
on Textedit links (these are generated by the Lilypond program) so that
it opens up an editor at the correct place in the file.

Since I need to port this change every time that the profile is changed
up-stream, and more people need to change their config in order to be
able to easily edit their source files, I thought it would help to add
this to the standard config for AppArmor for Evince.

[Bug 2045737] [NEW] Logitech MX Master 3 is detected as a keyboard in Power Statistics

2023-12-06 Thread Julian Alarcon
Public bug reported:

My Logitech MX Master 3 is detected as a keyboard in Power Statistics,
it's not a critical issue as beyond this everything works fine.

I'm using the Logitech Unifying Receiver to connect my MX Keys Keyboard
and MX Master 3 Mouse, those are working fine but sometimes I get the
notification of low battery, but I'm not so sure what is the device as
it says Keyboard and the mouse is identified by Power Statistics as a
Keyboard.

This is the info from Power Statistics window:

Model: Wireless Mouse MX Master 3
Serial number: bc-83-96-ed

This is the info related to the Dongle from lsusb:

From the information above, this could be related to another package
(even the kernel?) and not specifically gnome-power-manager
