Ok, i've tried something since i have the same bug. When you remove totem-gstreamer and use totem-xine instead, everything works fine ... At the first time he asks for the codec (and loaded it), but after download I can't open any audio or video files (where a codec exists on the system). When i open a file where he don't own the codec, totem don't crash. [Sorry, for my worse english :-) ] Here are Informations from the command line: The program 'totem' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
