[Bug 529696] Re: brasero can't copy audio cd (useless error message)

2010-08-03 Thread Šimánek
I did what #112 suggested:

1. Run software update
2. Via terminal and apt-get removed brasero
3. Via terminal and apt-get installed brasero

Now brasero CD copy functionality is restored. Not sure if running it
via terminal matters. Doing it via Synaptic/Ubuntu Software Center might
have same result.

[Bug 164986] Re: It can only have one music library

2010-07-31 Thread Šimánek
Somehow I inadvertently set both ~/Music and a network folder of music
for the source of my library. I can't correct this from the Rhythmbox
preferences, it always states 'Multiple locations set'. I also went into
gconf-editor in attempt to delete the one unwanted library location,
only the change won't keep. Every time I restart Rhythmbox the settings
stay the same and the gconf file is changed back to the way it was prior
to my editing. If these settings don't exist in the gconf file, where
are they being saved?

[Bug 546659] Re: FTP connection not available/doesn't work

2010-05-03 Thread Šimánek
I tried the 10.04 livedisc on my laptop and the FTP in Nautilus worked
as expected, so I just backed up and reinstalled. There must be a bug in
the upgrade process.

[Bug 546659] Re: FTP connection not available/doesn't work

2010-04-01 Thread Šimánek
Just did the latest updates for Lucid Beta 1. I also tried to delete
what I think are my nautilus preferences. I also launched nautilus via
sudo. Nautilus consistently only offers the useless 'Custom Connection'
option when attempting to 'Connect to Server...'. I don't think it's
related to my preferences.

[Bug 546659] Re: FTP connection not available/doesn't work

2010-03-25 Thread Šimánek
* Is this reproducible?

Yes. Every time I try to connect to any FTP server via Nautilus (in
Ubuntu Lucid Beta) I am not allowed to connect. In fact, Nautilus
doesn't even attempt to connect because the entire process of dialogs
that previously (Ubuntu Connect to server only provides option for 'Custom
Location'

I don't know if this is an intentional change in how Nautilus works or
if this is some kind of mistake.
