[Bug 572648] Re: new tabs ignore command line options such as --geometry, --zoom
Ubuntu ships with gnome-terminal 2.29, an unstable version. According to an upstream developer, this issue needs to be tested against 2.30 before an action would be taken. -- new tabs ignore command line options such as --geometry, --zoom https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572648 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 572648] [NEW] new tabs ignore command line options such as --geometry, --zoom
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch a new terminal using the command `gnome-terminal --geometry=100x24 --zoom=1.3` 2. Open a new tab in that terminal (File > New Tab) Expected behavior (Karmic): The new tab honors the --geometry and --zoom options passed to `gnome-terminal` as command line options. Unexpected behavior (Lucid): The new tab is started with default settings instead of geometry, zoom etc. settings passed to `gnome-terminal` as command line options. ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: lucid regression -- new tabs ignore command line options such as --geometry, --zoom https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572648 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 535490] Re: some dialogs in rhythmbox use tooltip's background color and are unreadable
I'm facing the same issue with auto-completion menu in Eclipse, and in several other places. I was able to get around it by setting the tooltip background to a light color and foreground to black. -- some dialogs in rhythmbox use tooltip's background color and are unreadable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/535490 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 539912] Re: [lucid] current battery charge not easily accessable
The info should be displayed as a tooltip, instead of having to click on the icon to see "time left" and then click outside to dismiss the menu. Percentage should always be visible, as "time left" can vary wildly when using old batteries. -- [lucid] current battery charge not easily accessable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/539912 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
