Description:
When searching on the web (for example wikipedia) the resulting page is
opened in firefox. If firefox is already running, it opens a new tab in
the currently running firefox window. If this window is on a different
worspace, nothing seems to happen, there is no visual feedback. deskbar-
applet should open a new firefox window in this case.

I upgraded some packages and rebooted to a new kernel, since then I do not get 
the warning anymore when I open the Theme dialog.

Running gnome-settings-daemon from the console still gives me:

Description:
When I receive an e-mail with a huge image in attachment, evolution
hangs for several minutes trying to render the image inline. During this
time, the system becomes quite slow. Evolution should handle this
situation gracefully, perhaps by not automatically trying to render
images over a certain resolution.

I can submit the image (jpeg, 1x13000 pixels) if neccessary.

It would be nice if the icon reflects the type of iPod that is
connected. So an iPod Color has a colored screen icon, the older
monochrome have a corresponding screen and the Mini has something like

Just open evolution, let it run for a while and then try to close it.

When I close evolution immediately after it has scanned for new
messages, it usually exists without problems.

For example xterm does not have the --sm-diable option so you cannot
start it that way. It is possible to start network-admin --sm-diable
though to reset the network configurarion to a working state.

gnome-session might hang because of a non-working network environment,

I get this error when simply starting totem, without opening any file. I
am using totem-xine on ubuntu dapper latest updates.

The program 'totem' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 69 error_code 11 request_code 141 minor_code 19)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line

Hmm, I reconfigured it now so I cannot recover what it contained after
the upgrade :s

But afaik the problem is not /etc/network/interfaces but the different
network locations that can be saved in the network settings window. I do
not know where they are stored.

I found backups under /var/cache/setup-tool-backends/backup/network

I guess it will be impossible to fix migration of these data on upgrade
before edgy is released.

Isn't it odd that the network data is now in a user directory while I

Apparently this file is missing in the breezy version of
libgnomevfs2-common (2.12.1-0ubuntu2).

Mplayer (and other players) incorrectly display mp4 movies. The aspect
ratio is wrong. By running mplayer with -aspect  one can get it to
display correctly.

Maybe interesting to note: these files are intended for the PSP. I have
tried playing these on Windows Media Player and then they are displayed
with the correct aspect ratio.
