Thomas, that's not the problem. i think they're claiming that if you have the "Browse for other folders" expander open when the file selector comes up, the default keyboard focus is in the folder view, not the name entry i just tested this, it's true keyboard focus moves from the name entry to the folder view You can visually see this happening. [Bug 175682] GNOME rarely starts from GDM in Hardy
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm About 90% of the time when logging in from GDM, gnome-session hangs. I don't get any GNOME programs running, just a cursor and a blank, light brown background. If I choose "Failsafe GNOME", the same happens, though for a few days this seemed to work. I have cleaned my session, and I have even tried this with newly created users, and the same thing happens. The only way I can get it to work is by using a "Failsafe Terminal" session and launching gnome-session from that. [Bug 145004] Re: Implement GtkExpander styling (Code, Screenshot)
Sorry it's not technically a patch, I still can't figure out debdiff. I've just enclosed the entire source file. All I have added is the draw_expander function and then added it to style_init. The code is only very slightly different to the default implementation in GTK. ** Attachment added: "engine/src/ubuntulooks-style.c" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9509204/ubuntulooks_style.c -- Implement GtkExpander styling (Code, Screenshot) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145004 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for ubuntulooks in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 145004] Implement GtkExpander styling (Code, Screenshot)
Public bug reported: I've implemented some nice GtkExpander styling, based on the default implementation in GTK, but looking much nicer. I'm using 50% opaque foreground colour for normal colouring, and 100% opaque foreground colour for prelight. This gives a really nice effect. Can we get this into Gutsy please?
