[Bug 434071] Re: Brightness hotkeys not working on MacBook 5, 2 and 4, 1
You need the nvidia-bl-dkms package installed AFAIK. I think pommed has been deprecated, so I would suggest removing it. This may be of some help (even though it's for Macbook5,1): https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBook5-1/Intrepid You can get to guides for other macbook models from that link, though some guides are less detailed. -- Brightness hotkeys not working on MacBook 5,2 and 4,1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/434071 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 285638] Re: Junk mail check fails on evolution when enabled.
Hello Sebastien, It turns out I had Check incoming messages for junk enabled in Preferences Mail Preferences Junk. Even though I had junk filtering disabled for all accounts in Mail Accounts. Now I don't experience this anymore. I wouldn't call this fixed though. First instead of piling on error messages, only one should have been shown. Second, the error dialog should have been more descriptive. I had to scour through several preference panes until I found the culprit. [Bug 285638] Re: Junk mail check fails on evolution when enabled.
I am also affected by this bug. Attached is a screenshot of the problem. The following output gets printed to the console: Remember to register some spam and ham messages before you use bogofilter to evaluate mail for its probable spam status! Can't open file 'wordlist.db' in directory '/home/alex/.bogofilter'. error #2 - No such file or directory. I don't know what this bogusfilter is. I have Junk mail filtering disabled in Evolution for all my accounts as my ISP takes care of that. The directory /home/alex/.bogofilter exists, but is empty. I don't know if this is relevant, but my email accounts have been migrated by Evolution (from the Hardy version) when I first started it. ** Attachment added: Screenshot.png http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19432896/Screenshot.png -- Junk mail check fails on evolution when enabled. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/285638 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 272189] Re: title bar unread count incorrect
My bad. It looked to me like I have the exact same issue, so reopening seemed like the right thing to do :) I've searched launchpad and there seems to be a lot of bugs filed around wrong email counts. I guess I'll just wait for some patches to be issued and see if that resolves it for me. -- title bar unread count incorrect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272189 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 272189] Re: title bar unread count incorrect
I'm still affected by this bug in Intrepid with all updates applied. I've attached a screen shot. The email count is wrong in my search folders. It is correct in the individual IMAP folders. Running evolution from command line didn't show anything useful. I'm reopening the bug. ** Attachment added: evolution-bug.png http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19244927/evolution-bug.png ** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Released = New -- title bar unread count incorrect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272189 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
