[Bug 262481] Re: evince crashed with SIGSEGV in FcConfigSubstituteWithPat()
I experienced this one too. I opened Evince from the commandline, this way: evince "http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~wkahan/JAVAhurt.pdf"; After reading the six or so first pages, I used other applications for an hour or two (mostly Firefox). When I returned to Evince and scrolled a bit up and down, I experienced this crash too. -- evince crashed with SIGSEGV in FcConfigSubstituteWithPat() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/262481 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I tried downloading and running Savage again, and it no longers produces the original output/error. [Bug 188571] [NEW] [hardy] no 3d in pdf
Public bug reported: MeshLab is one of the "projects of the month" at sourceforge: http://meshlab.sourceforge.net/. At the webpage, they have a pdf: http://meshlab.sourceforge.net/wiki/images/c/cc/Laurana.pdf This one is supposed to have embedded 3D in the U3D-format, but I can't see any 3D in Evince, only "(lau.u3d)". My first thought was, "ah, they have crafted the pdf to work together with a 3d-viewer on Windows or something", but the references to several operating systems and cross-plattform standards and technologies on the webage made me go: "look, they have mentioned LaTeX, surely the pdf should be viewable on Linux as well". So, if possible, U3D in .pdf files in Evince would be fantastic. I'm not 100% sure if this is a bug or a wish, but I think it's a bug borderlining a wish. ** Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [hardy] no 3d in pdf https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/188571 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for evince in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
