[Bug 1969849] Re: Evolution crashes when viewing certain emails

2022-04-24 Thread Andreas Olsson
For me it helped upgrading to Evolution version 3.44.0-1ubuntu1, which
currently resides in jammy-proposed.

Whenever I view an email which previously crashed Evolution I still get
the "Cannot find handler for scheme 'evo-https'" message in the
terminal. Except that Evolution doesn't crash, and I get to actually
read the email in question.

[Bug 1302812] Re: Explicit identity files are being used after implicit files are attempted

2014-04-04 Thread Andreas Olsson
It's an explicit behavior of the openssh client to try keys provided by
the ssh agent. If you don't want this behavior you can set the
IdentitiesOnly ssh config option.

I would assume that what is happening here is that you are using the
gnome-keyring as your ssh agent? From what I can see it automatically
adds any key it can find under ~/.ssh/.

(Not that I have much of an opinion either way in regards to whatever
there is a bug anywhere or not.)

[Bug 1282203] Re: gnome-terminal not respecting Enable menu access keys setting

2014-02-27 Thread Andreas Olsson
Yepp, that time line sounds about right to me too.

Given that gnome-terminal 3.6.2-0ubuntu1 is from the 16th of December I
would assume then that the issue is due to some gnome/unity change.

Also, when running gnome-terminal under Xfce the Enable menu access
keys (such as Alt+F to open the File menu) setting still works as
expected.

[Bug 1282203] [NEW] gnome-terminal not respecting Enable menu access keys setting

2014-02-19 Thread Andreas Olsson
Public bug reported:

Under Edit -- Keyboard Shortcuts.. there is a checkbox for Enable menu
access keys (such as Alt+F to open the File menu).

That checkbox appear to have no affect what so ever. No matter whatever
I have it checked or not I still get the same behavior, that menu access
keys are enabled.

This being a problem since I'd much rather not have the menu get in the
way of my readline/emacs bindings.

If the mail is only encrypted using your recipient's public key it is
only natural that he is the only one who is able to read it. After all,
you don't have access to his private key, do you? :-)

If you go into Evolution's Account editor and the tab Security you'll
find the option Always encrypt to myself when sending encrypted

suboptimal, defaults.

[Bug 326979] Re: PGP encrypted sent messages aren't showed decrypted in sent folder

2009-02-08 Thread Andreas Olsson
Have you told Evolution to also encrypt using your public key?

[Bug 325058] Re: Connect to server dialog (webdav) gives HTTP error

2009-02-03 Thread Andreas Olsson
I can confirm this.

What's happening when you are connecting to webdav share using Connect
to server dialog is that the path /folder is sent to the server. This
is no matter if you specify /folder or /folder/.

When your server is getting the /folder (without trailing slash) it
sends a http 301 respons, pointing towards /folder/ (adding the trailing
slash). This doesn't seem to be catched and handled properly.

[Bug 323827] Re: Cannot connect to an internet radio station. Says I need a text/html decoder. Radio station url is: http://www.waus.org/player-28.html

2009-02-01 Thread Andreas Olsson
Are you sure about http://www.waus.org/player-28.html being the URL to
the actual audio stream? To me it looks more like some kind of web based
player, require an unknown plugin.

Looking at www.waus.org I did find the url
mms://livestream.andrews.edu/waus-28 which does point to an audio
stream.

[Bug 323716] Re: A text/html decoder plugin is required

2009-02-01 Thread Andreas Olsson
I used a web browser to visit that link you provided. It only redirects
to a login page. I guess you are already logged in, and sees something
else.

Yet, are you sure they provide an audio stream which can be played in a
stand alone music player, like rhytmbox? Or do they only have some kind
of web based player?

[Bug 323716] Re: A text/html decoder plugin is required

Seems like a faulty link. Music is seldom delivered in the format
text/html.

Could you please provide the link in question?

I take it your are trying to send a gpg-signed email? I assume you have
a private key generated?

[Bug 323567] Re: Evolution Mail - secret key not available gpg

2009-01-31 Thread Andreas Olsson
By the respons of you finding your answer I take it this wasn't a bug,
hence I marking it as invalid.

Unless you have any specif problems with 8.10 it is probably the version
you want to run.

Regarding general support questions you might want to look into
http://ubuntuforums.org/ or https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/
