[Bug 1675863] Re: Nautilus crash after renaming an ODS file whilst in Filtered view

2017-03-24 Thread Andy Brook
When this happens, the rename actually succeeded, so I usually just
relaunch nautilus and open the file. Having logged this, I was doing
some more replication checks, straight after the crash, it was not
possible to duplicate, but I really get this a lot.

If there are more diagnosis steps I can take to capture more information
at the point of crash, let me know (I submitted the data from the Oops
window, so any data from there will be 'somewhere')

Re: [Bug 298926] Re: rhythmbox has erased radio list

2009-02-27 Thread Andy Brook
I haven't done a 64bit upgrade since then so can't comment on the current
package. Fresh installs didn't suffer from the problem.

Would really like to figure out how to just 'load' the defaults on systems
with the problem!

[Bug 298926] Re: rhythmbox has erased radio list

2009-01-07 Thread Andy Brook
I _dont_ see the problem on 32bit Ubuntu 8.10, current rev, only 64bit
so something is broken in the 64bit package specifically.

2008-10-04 Thread Andy Brook
This just hit me today, took me an hour to figure out (thanks to
comments above) that I had to DISABLE the Evolution BOGOFILTER Junk
plugin (aptly named here!). This bug has been in effect for a couple of
months, Im current withg updates so I wonder how many others are getting

[Bug 50312] Re: feature request - Print button on meeting popup

2006-08-14 Thread Andy Brook
When I get a popup, I want to be able to print out the summary of the
meeting (whatever content was entered against it. I find it a pain to
have to open the clendar, find the item in question and print it. What
Im after is a shortcut to printing the related information.

[Bug 51182] Evolution now crashes on startup due to a meeting request

2006-06-28 Thread Andy Brook

Strangely, it now happens to the machine that didnt have the patches, and it
only happens when loading the inbox. I thought this was related to an email,
and delete one by one todays mail. It turned out it was a meeting request,
whic is wierd, because I've been using it to do this for some time (as an
outlook client).

Forget gtk, this is down to parsing meeting requests

** Summary changed:

- Evolution now crashes on startup after accepting June28 gtk2 updates
+ Evolution crashes with particular meeting requests (Live Meeting in fact)

[Bug 51182] Evolution now crashes on startup after accepting June28 gtk2 updates

2006-06-28 Thread Andy Brook
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Evolution has been running fine since install, but now crashes every
time at startup. The only thing done differently was to accept some
updates, these are the packages that came in today:

libgtk2.0-0_2.8.18-0ubuntu2_amd64.deb
libgtk2.0-bin_2.8.18-0ubuntu2_amd64.deb
libgtk2.0-common_2.8.18-0ubuntu2_all.deb
gtk2-engines-pixbuf_2.8.18-0ubuntu2_amd64.deb

A collegeue suggested it was related to the theme, I reset to Ubuntu
default with no difference.

Another dapper machine that hasn't had (and doesnt seem to need) these
patches continues to run ok.

[Bug 50312] feature request - Print button on meeting popup

2006-06-19 Thread Andy Brook
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

It would be useful if there were a print button on the meeting popup,
when I get a notification, that its in 5 minutes, I can just hit print,
grab and go, rather than copy/paste/faff/print and go !
