I got the same issue at the GDM. GDM uses X with nvidia driver and also
uses Yaru cursor theme, which wasn't present in my system.

With update of my HTC One X to 4.1 connecting phone to PC as removable
media was removed and now i can connect it only as MTP/PTP device. In
