[Bug 2042681] [NEW] Font hinting on text field placeholder is inconsistent with the rest of the UI
Public bug reported: In the "Settings" app, I've noticed that in certain pages where it contains an editable text field with a placeholder, such as "Device name" and "User name", the placeholder's font rendering is different and inconsistent with the rest of the UI. These placeholders have no font hinting, but the rest of the Settings screen has hinting. [Bug 2033688] Re: [mantic] gnome-shell fails to follow accent colours
For me, it doesn't only affect the quick settings highlights like the ones seen in the screenshots, but it also affects the calendar highlight color from the notifications panel and the open app indicator in the sidebar of the desktop. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2033688 Title: [mantic] gnome-shell fails to follow accent colours To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2033688/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 2035065] [NEW] Quick settings doesn't respect chosen accent color
Public bug reported: Ever since the recent updates to the GNOME shell (GNOME 45 RC), the quick settings color accent found in the buttons and the volume slider doesn't respect the chosen accent color. Additionally, the calendar in the notification panel and the dots indicating opened apps in the taskbar doesn't respect the chosen accent color. However, other parts of GNOME, like the file explorer, do respect the chosen accent color.
