[Bug 1248368] Re: Volume up/down keyboard keys stoped working after gnome-settings-daemon package update
I see this issue, too (12.04.4 and Lenovo T420). After the gnome- settings update the volume keys stopped working. The logs show no warning and error messages... Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. Public bug reported: Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: make jpg File of the dimension 6556x99 Pixels and place ist in the directory ~/Templates. If you restart nautilus, it will eat up all CPU. Actually the thumbnail of the JPG is shown correctly if it's in another directory ! Copying the JPG File to the directory ~/Templates results also in eating 100% CPU after copying the file (But copy File to another locations works perfectly !)
