[Bug 696764] Re: font in menu is illisible only square signs

2011-01-03 Thread Benoit THIBAUD
yes it's the same bug than the one here :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/631088

By deleting the link to the windows fonts it's fixed.

Thanks a lot Gary !

I'll will select what font I really need before link the whole folder
and if that affects evince again, will find an alternative font. (I
don't use windows anymore but have that fonts folder only for mail
content compatibility : pps files mostly that aren't that important !!)

** Changed in: evince (Ubuntu)

[Bug 696764] [NEW] font in menu is illisible only square signs

2011-01-03 Thread Benoit THIBAUD
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

Went here only because i've recognized the icon to report bug but the
text wasn't readable as all the menus there.

Tried to reinstall it after complete deletion in synaptic.

Tried a deletion of the folder "evince" in .gnome2 of my $HOME folder
but without any success.

I know I had a few weeks ago put the Ubuntu font everywhere but don't
know if it"s why that doesn't run as well as before..

The same pdf files run well with evince inside the Crunchbang Linux
distro I have on another partition of my computer..

I don't know how to have it back working well.

[Bug 542789] [NEW] live cd is not localized in french (ubuntu-desktop-amd.iso)

2010-03-20 Thread Benoit THIBAUD
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

I+ use the ability of grub to launch iso files but it's the same when I
burn it. It runs quite well with the i386 version but not with the amd64
one.

It was the same in karmic. It seems that the french packages files are
not included in the CD/iso file. We must run the language-selector to
install them...

My entry in the grub-pc menu :
menuentry "ISO Live - LUCID Ubuntu AMD64" {
insmod loopback
insmod iso9660
set isofile="/iso/ubuntu-10.04-beta1-desktop-amd64.iso"
loopback loop (hd0,5)$isofile
linux (loop)/casper/vmlinuz locale=fr_FR bootkbd=fr console-setup/layoutcode=fr
iso-scan/filename=$isofile boot=casper file=/cdrom/preseed/ubuntu.seed noprompt
quiet splash --
initrd (loop)/casper/initrd.lz
}

It runs better with the i386 iso file.

Re: [Bug 479316] Re: Nautilus don't show the whole content of a directory

2009-11-09 Thread Benoit THIBAUD
I was just moving a file to that directory and go in it before it had
finished to be transfered. The file was 350Mb. And the thumbnails
generation was in progress.

I don't know how to reproduce it and don't know if it's possible to
reproduce it on demand.

I think it's the third or the fourth time that it happens.

One of the times the computer began to be very slowly.. At that time I
thought it was a memory problem or a compiz one because it's the first
year I use it every day.

[Bug 479316] [NEW] Nautilus don't show the whole content of a directory

2009-11-09 Thread Benoit THIBAUD
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

It's not the first time in Karmic. It doesn't show the whole content of
a directory even if we wait. I have to reboot the machine to fix it.

It happens not on every directory but only on one at a time. But it last
the whole session for that one. we must reboot to be able to see the
whole content fo that directory. Even if we close nautilus and re-open
it.

2009-09-25 Thread Benoit THIBAUD

play.

So instead of a 12 minutes game, it scores a 59 seconds game.
