[Bug 543995] Re: Lucid - Screen Will Not Dim Automatically
I have a similar issue on an HP Mini 110. The screen does not dim upon switching to battery power and vice-versa. The suggestion above (acpt_backlight=vendor) makes the screen dim when cold booting on battery power, but still the power manager does not change the brightness when going from battery to AC or vice-versa. -- Lucid - Screen Will Not Dim Automatically https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/543995 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 543995] Re: Lucid - Screen Will Not Dim Automatically
I forgot to add that the brightness keys do work on the Mini, however there is no on-screen notification other then the brightness changing.
Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately there are no options for that on this model Mini. -- Lucid - Screen Will Not Dim Automatically https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/543995 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
