[Bug 1092000] [NEW] iPhone 4GS not recognized by Linux Mint 10
Public bug reported: I have followed the advice of several authors on various Linux supported sites and my computer states "Unble to mount Brian Hess's iPhone" even though the icon for the phone appears in my folders on the desktop. If I click on the icon it gives me "Unhanded Lockdown Error (-4)" Following the advice of several sites, I made sure that I followed the steps to update, upgrade, and install all of the needed components to make the device work. I think that the iOS 6 is causing the issue and that the newest libararies for libimobiledevice are not up-to-date to run the interface. So even though the phone is recognized for picture support, it will not function for music. Currently running this system and distro: HP/Compaq tc4400 Linux Mint Release 10 (Julia) Kernel Linux 2.6.35-32-generic Gnome 2.32.0 iPhone 4gs White Powered by iOS 6.0.1 ** Affects: libimobiledevice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to libimobiledevice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1092000 Title: iPhone 4GS not recognized by Linux Mint 10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libimobiledevice/+bug/1092000/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 810496] [NEW] windows open at top of screen, with only 1/2 of vertical resolution, can't maximize to full screen
Public bug reported: chrome, firefox browsers, wireshark, terminal, all show the same effect. this happened once before on bootup, restarting cleared the effect and was able to open apps normally to full screen. Note this only affects the primary laptop screen, if I move the open app to the second screen, the app opens normally to full screen. Also note, the full desktop is visible on both monitors. hessb@monterey:~$ lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu 11.04 Release:11.04 hessb@monterey:~$ hessb@monterey:~$ apt-cache policy gnome-terminal gnome-terminal: Installed: 2.32.1-0ubuntu3 Candidate: 2.32.1-0ubuntu3 Version table: *** 2.32.1-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status hessb@monterey:~$ ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: gnome-terminal 2.32.1-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-10.46-generic 2.6.38.7 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-10-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: wl Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Jul 14 09:46:44 2011 EcryptfsInUse: Yes ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-terminal InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release amd64 (20110427.1) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US:en LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-terminal UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug apport-lpi natty running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/810496 Title: windows open at top of screen, with only 1/2 of vertical resolution, can't maximize to full screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/810496/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
