[Bug 1717634] [NEW] Logging in regular Gnome displays classical

2017-09-15 Thread Carlos Eduardo Moreira dos Santos
Public bug reported:

I'm running Ubuntu 17.04. I changed to Gnome classic in the login
screen, then logged in, logged out and chose regular Gnome, but I keep
logging in Gnome classic every time. A workaround is to run "gnome-shell
--mode=user -r" after every login.

[Bug 1028670] [NEW] Open file window bigger than the vertical resolution

2012-07-24 Thread Carlos Eduardo
Public bug reported:

When you use some function as Open file (exemple: Open file inside
LibreOffice), the window to choose the file sometimes is bigger than the
monitor vertical resolution.

This behavior is not necessary. Just show all the folders in the right side
(places).
Today, when you click Open file in any place (web, local applications, etc),
sometimes, is needed to resize window.

My resolution monitor is 1366x768 and the Open window takes almost all
vertical size.
In virtul machines with less than this vertical resolution (720px), is needed
to resize window to reach the Open button.

Solution:

Make the open file window with fixed size instead to wait the user resize the
window to reach the Open button.
Maybe, smaller and centralized.

[Bug 753150] [NEW] Glade3 properties section takes too much space.

2011-04-06 Thread Carlos Eduardo Melo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: glade-3

This isn't actually a bug, but a feature request.
What about glade using a properties grid in Delphi and VS style, instead of the
current properties section.
It is hard to work in a large window in a regular monitor with the widget list
and properties list taking that amount of space.

Thanks.

[Bug 257190] Re: Setting status to 'Hidden' changes status to 'Busy' instead

2010-04-29 Thread Carlos Eduardo Livino
I'm running the final version of Lucid and the problems remains on all
protocols and with both status-setting panel apps. When you choose
'Hidden' status changes to 'Busy' instead.

Very annoying bug that goes against thw whole social from the start
theme for Lucid. How social-network-heavy can an OS be when such simple
bugs on social network apps remain unsolved?

[Bug 80805] Re: gnome-theme-manager crashes with redhat-artwork package

2007-01-21 Thread Carlos Eduardo Pedroza Santiviago
Conflicts with which files? IIRC, whenever i install a package that
conflicts with something, dpkg shows it, and is necessary execute the
dpkg -i command with --force-overwrite, which is not this specific case.

[Bug 80805] gnome-theme-manager crashes with redhat-artwork package

2007-01-20 Thread Carlos Eduardo Pedroza Santiviago
Public bug reported:

I got the latest rawhide package from Fedora, which is:

redhat-artwork-5.0.8-3.fc7.i386.rpm

and then, converted it using alien, generating this file:

redhat-artwork_5.0.8-4_i386.deb

The installation went well, but when i try to choose this theme as the
current one, gnome-theme-manager crashed.
