[Bug 882900] Re: softwares that don't take a command line argument should be filtered out
Thanks for looking into this bug Sebastien. I opened a bug against quarry, although the project seems to have been discontinued :( -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/882900 Title: softwares that don't take a command line argument should be filtered out To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/882900/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 882900] Re: Cannot associate files of type sgf
It's listed in the context menu. But the bug i reported is that is not listed in Properties-Open With. Older nautilus versions allowed to define a custom command, this one doesn't. So i can't add a custom command and cannot select the default application because is not listed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/882900 Title: Cannot associate files of type sgf To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/882900/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 882900] Re: Cannot associate files of type sgf
Nautilus properties shows: Board game record (application/x-go-sgf) Yet, desktop files claims it. [Bug 882900] [NEW] Cannot associate files of type sgf
Public bug reported: Nautilus in 11.10 doesn't associate the right application to SGF files. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install an application to open SGF, like Quarry. 2. Check if MIME types are configured correctly with mimeopen whatever.sgf. They are, as expected quarry is launched. 3. In nautilus, this file type is associated to gedit. Try to associate it again. Right button click on the file. Properties-Open with window doesn't list quarry as an application. New nautilus version in 11.10 doesn't allow custom command lines. 4. No way to associate SGF files, regression from 11.04 ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/882900 Title: Cannot associate files of type sgf To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/882900/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 786866] Re: empathy displays network error on msn account
Just a hint to ubuntu developers: if there isn't anyone willing to solve this bug (bug reporter says it's THREE ubuntu versions), what is stopping you to substitute telepathy with a message application that works? [Bug 197537] Re: [MASTER] Can't read PDF file with CJK (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) text
I confirm this bug (no japanese fonts in pdf) gets solved installing poppler-data. So it seems the fix consists in adding a new dependency to evince and/or japanese localization packages. A simple fix, yet this bug has been opened 2 years. In 9.10, i still need to install poppler-data manually (and got no hints of why there is no fonts in the document, only if you lauch evince from a console, you will see there are missing font errors) Please, fix it. Ubuntu should stop treating japanese, chinese, korean, etc. like second class citizens. Just look at some bugs in 9.10: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1317694. This is not professional and gives Ubuntu a very bad image. Sorry for the rant, but i just had the feeling that you guys at Ubuntu are not taking seriously this bugs. -- [MASTER] Can't read PDF file with CJK (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) text https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197537 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
