[Bug 1215826] [NEW] Lost ability to remap Caps Lock to Ctrl
Public bug reported: After the last update (today) I am no longer able to remap Caps Lock to Ctrl. I tried to set XKBOPTIONS in /etc/default/keyboard but that only seems to work for a few brief seconds. The same happens if I invoke setxkbmap -option ctrl:nocaps on the console. It works for a few seconds, then Caps Lock reverts to its Caps Lock-y behavior. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: saucy ** Package changed: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) = ubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1215826 Title: Lost ability to remap Caps Lock to Ctrl To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1215826/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1193651] Re: gnome-panel crashed with SIGABRT in _g_log_abort()
As an update, all that's needed is to remove a panel applet from the panel. I don't think creating a new panel has any influence. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1193651 Title: gnome-panel crashed with SIGABRT in _g_log_abort() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/1193651/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 325973] Re: gnome-session keeps respawning nautilus when no desktop is drawed
This is happening in Karmic, too. I had to change X-GNOME-AutoRestart to false in /usr/share/applications/nautilus.desktop.
